Billing clients on a platform you control.

On a reseller deal, billing often means a spreadsheet and the provider's statement. On your server, the billing module invoices clients for the devices on their accounts at your prices. Payments go straight into your merchant account.

What the billing module does.

Monthly invoices by device

Auto-billing creates each client's invoice on a schedule, from the devices and recurring products on their account. You can also raise an invoice by hand at any time.

Quotes

Quote a new fleet or an add-on from the portal. The client gets a link and accepts the quote online.

Statements and overdue invoices

A client's statement shows what they owe, and overdue invoices are marked in the invoice list with their totals.

Online payments

The invoice email has a Pay Now button that takes the client to PayFast, Stripe or PayPal, and the money goes into your merchant account. Invoices can also be downloaded as PDFs.

Moving your price list over.

Set up your products before the first invoice run, then check that run against the old system.

Create a product for each thing you charge for. That might be the monthly fee per tracker, a camera add-on, fuel monitoring, or the Fleet app if clients pay for it. Then link each client's devices to the right products, and compare the first run with what the old system billed for the same month.

If units move in the middle of a month, bill that month from the system that was in use when the month began. Then switch on auto-billing on your server from the next month, so nobody gets charged twice.

What the platform costs you.

You pay a flat monthly fee based on your device count, and none of what you bill comes to us.

Questions about billing clients

Which payment gateways can my clients use?

PayFast, Stripe or PayPal, through merchant accounts in your name. Your server signs the payment request, so your gateway credentials never reach a client's browser.

Do you take a percentage of what I bill?

No. The plan fee is all you pay us. What your clients pay goes into your merchant account and stays with you.
